UEM Sunrise appoint ex-KWAP as new CEO

KUALA LUMPUR 18 Jan. - UEM Sunrise Berhad appoint Sufian Abdullah as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective 2 February 2021.

 

Chairman of the Board Directors of UEM Sunrise, Datuk Noorazman Abd. Aziz said, this appointment comes at an exciting time for the company to embark on a bold vision and an ambitious agenda even as the country faces uncertain economic conditions.  

 

"Sufian brings with him a wealth of experience to this important role. His background as an architect, and competencies and passion in the property development sector are a tremendous asset to our company. 

 

"With the support of a complementary, multi-talented management team, we are confident that Sufian will lead the course for a strong and sustainable growth trajectory for our Company, including bringing value-added services and product excellence for all our customers,” said him in a statement today. 

 

Sufian Abdullah, 46, brings with him over 20 years of experience in the property development and real estate industry. 

 

A trained architect with a hands-on track record in urban design and High-Performance Built Environments, as well as extensive corporate exposure, he has held key positions in Sime Darby Property and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan).

 

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of KWEST Sdn. Bhd., the property arm of KWAP.- DagangNews.com
