Inix invested RM22.75 million setting up rubber glove plant in Negeri Sembilan

SEREMBAN 12 August - Within days after the helm of Inix Technology Berhad was handed over to Macau tycoon Wan Kuok Koi, HK billionaire financier, Chak Ho Sum and their two local representatives, Datuk Tan Choon Hwa and Lee Han Keat, Inix inked a letter of offer to acquire a factory building from Lyglan Properties Sdn Bhd, located in the Sendayan Industrial Zone in Negeri Sembilan, with an area of ​​approximately 20,250 square meters.

Lee said, “This agreement is the maiden step for the two parties to establish a joint venture into the medical rubber gloves industry.”

“Thereafter, Inix and Lyglan would establish a joint venture company to develop the business of rubber gloves production. A JV company would be formed, where Inix Technology will invest RM22.75 million, accounting for 65% of the company's equity, and Lyglan will invest RM12.25 million, accounting for 35% of the company's equity.”

The director of Lyglan, Datuk Lui Pak Leung Cha is an engineer with 15 years of experience in the rubber glove industry in relation to building factories, installing machinery, producing packaging, certification and exporting of medical rubber gloves.

Inix has negotiated with Lui pertaining to setting up of many rubber glove factories, and parties have also expressed how to cooperate with each other.

Meanwhile, Leung Cha graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Ungku Omar Polytechnic. After leaving school, he started a family business and then started his own business by setting up construction and engineering related companies.

He said that after starting his business, he has successfully secured many large manufacturers to become its customer base. These manufacturers include top 10 rubber glove manufacturers, such as Top Glove.

He said, “I can provide one-stop solution to set up a rubber glove factory. Inix is my third customer to set up rubber glove factory in recent months.”
