KUALA LUMPUR 14 Jan. - Embracing the spirit of giving, Happy Angel Charitable Association (Happy Angel Foundation), the CSR arm of Sheng Tai International Sdn Bhd (Sheng Tai International), an award-winning home-grown developer and a specialist in property tourism, recently, brought smiles to several orphanages across Melaka. 

 

Through Happy Angel Foundation, over 20 employees of Sheng Tai International distributed holiday meals and cheers to several homes in Melaka recently. 

 

These include Salvatorian Homes, Pusat Jagaan Kasih Sayang Angel, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Harapan, Madrasah Anak- Anak Yatim Bukit Pegoh, Hanukkah Children Home, Lembaga Pengurusan Kebajikan Anak- Anak Yatim Miskin Payasum Sungai Udang, Yayasan Sunbeams Home – Alor Gajah Branch. 

 

The meals brought a bundle of joyful cheer to the underprivileged children, aged between two to 17 years old. 

 

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sheng Tai International, Datuk Leong Sir Ley said, as a socially responsible corporate citizen, Sheng Tai International is committed to contributing positively towards the community where we operate in.

 

"This is all part of our 'heart-work' and our way of reaching out to these children and bring a little joy into their lives. We work hard not only but also in a lot of heart into our actions and initiatives. It brings us joy to see so many happy little angels." 

 

"Happy Angel Foundation allows the company to lend a hand to our surrounding community. We understand the impact communities play on the sustainability of a business. 

 

"By reaching out to the community via the Happy Angel Foundation, we can spread love and happiness to those in need," he said.

 

Happy Angel Foundation has been actively organising CSR activities for festive celebrations.

 

It also managed to reach out to front-liners at an event held at the Klinik Kesihatan Ayer Keroh, where members from the Jabatan Kesihatan Bukit Baru, Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Ayer Keroh and Balai Polis Tasik Utama were present.

 

Another community service programme was held during the Chinese New Year for the residents of Rumah Sejahtera Bukit Baru. 

 

A blood donation campaign was also organised by Happy Angel Foundation and held at Sheng Tai International's Metrasquare Hotel. 

 

Happy Angel Foundation was officially registered in October 2020  by Sheng Tai International in an effort to help prevent the problem of neglect and hunger. 

 

The Happy Angel Foundation's ultimate goal is to continue to spark joy and spread happiness to every person in need.
