KUALA LUMPUR 26 July – The Board of Directors of Serba Dinamik Holdings Berhad announces that the Company has nominated Nexia SSY PLT (Nexia) to fill in the vacancy for the new Statutory Auditors of the Company in accordance with the Companies Act 2016 for the financial year ended 30 June 2021.
It would be subject to among others, professional clearance from KPMG PLT in accordance to Section 320 By-Law of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Further announcement will be made upon completion of the aforesaid procedure.
Serba Dinamik’s Chairman Datuk Mohamed Ilyas said, “The Board of Directors, including the Audit & Risk Committee of Serba Dinamik is committed in ensuring the nomination is based on the objectivity and independence as well as the sound performance of the external auditor.”
He said, the appointment is based on the criteria set by the Board which is in line with legislative promulgations such as Companies Act 2016, Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (Amendment 2012) and Listing Requirements whilst also taking into account the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG), and the By-Laws (on Professional Ethics, Conduct and Practice) by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).”
