International Project Management Conference to 'chew over' innovative ideas

KUALA LUMPUR 27 Okt.  – The leading names in the project management fraternity will converge virtually at the inaugural International Project Management Conference (IPMC) to exchange insightful knowledge and ideas on the theme ‘Beyond Projects – Embracing the New Era’.

Hosted by Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), the online event is poised to become the first and biggest virtual experiential project management conference and exhibition in Asia Pacific from 1 to 2 December 2020.

Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of American Bureau of Shipping, Christopher Wiernicki (pix above) said the effective project management is the difference between success and failure. 

“The latest insights into tools, technologies and processes, such as those available through IPMC, are the difference makers,” said him in a statement.

With two keynote sessions, two Panel Sessions and six Parallel Sessions featuring 36 top selected technical papers, IPMC 2020 will offer insights into the implementation of technology, digitalisation and innovation in project management as well as other agile approaches for a more efficient and effective delivery of projects.

Wiernicki will be speaking in the Executive Panel Session at the online event. 

Joining him will be Corporate Vice President, Cross-Industry Solutions, Microsoft Corporation, Omar Abbosh; and Industry X.0 Global Manufacturing & Operations Managing Director, Accenture,Tracey Countryman, among others.

Also scheduled to grace the event are Minister of Works, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and Petronas President and Group CEO, Tengku Muhammad Taufik, who will deliver their opening and welcoming remarks respectively.  

At the event, participants can look forward to a 3D experience with gamification features, e-business matching and an engaging exhibition and networking environment.
