KUALA LUMPUR 13 Jan. - Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (Alliance Bank) announced a Flood Relief Assistance programme that will help alleviate the financial worries of customers living in flood-affected areas.
These comprise options of a loan moratorium of up to six months, loan repayment modifications, and waivers of fee and charges for customers and businesses that have been affected by the flood situation in several states in Malaysia.
“Our primary concern is the well-being of our affected customers as we understand that the flood has caused much loss and suffering to them.
"We hope the Flood Relief Assistance will help ease their financial burden. Affected customers can contact us to discuss the relief package that meets their needs,” said Group Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Bank, Joel Kornreich.
The Flood Relief Assistance offers payment relief on all conventional loans and Islamic financing facilities.
The Bank will also waive fees and charges for selected services such as replacement of debit card, ATM cards, cheque books and passbooks lost or damaged during the flood.
"Affected customers can apply for flood relief assistance by contacting the Bank’s Contact Centre at 03-5516 9988 or their relationship managers directly.
"All requests for assistance will be assessed by the Bank on a case-by-case basis," he said. - DagangNews.com
